STAY AWAY

[5a bottom] R’ Avahu quotes the Pasuk [Vayikra 13] that a person afflicted with Tzaraas must call out, “Tamei, Tamei!” to warn others to stay away from his impurity.
R’ Rosner quoting R’ Weinberger: It has the double language to teach us that anytime even a tiny bit of evil is let in, it spreads uncontrollably all over like mold and viruses.

E’s Lesson: We must always be super-careful not to fall prey to the “it’s only a little bit of bad… What could go wrong?” syndrome. When we start to (G-d forbid) let our guards down, we start to slip much further much more easily. We must always stand strong against our Yetzer Haras and keep ourselves surrounded with proper fences, Mitzvos, and the Torah of Hashem.
