SPIRITUALITY EVERYWHERE

[11a middle] Rav Yehoshua ben Levi: Hashem created all of creation them with their full stature and according to THEIR will/desire (“Bikomosun”).

The Ben Yehoyada: This quote means that all of creation was literally asked if it wanted to be in existence and the response was “Yes!” There is a spiritual force related to everything in the physical world.

E’s Lesson: When we look at a tree do we see a trunk, branches and leaves, or do we recognize a spiritual force that is emanating? Not only does a leaf never fall unless directly under G-d’s command, but the whole existence is ONE to begin with. On the lowest level, we should at least be cognizant of the Holiness in every Jew and only speak good about and praise each other.

R Nemenzal: “Bikomusun Nivriu” Also may be understood that Hashem created the things “at a set/mature age.” The world [including Man (who was not born a baby)] was brought into existence in a mature state. Therefore, there are no ‘scientific data’ dating problems of tree rings or dinosaur fossils. The world may have just as well been created with all of these “in it.”

E’s Lesson#2: One reason among many, of why there is this “argumentative questionable data” is to give us all free choice. Hashem must set up a world in which we can choose to believe G-d and His Book or to look elsewhere for answers.

[11a bottom] “Hashem fills the years of Tzaddikim, month to month and day to day.” This is to gift them with fulfillment of their set years. Since they are outstanding individuals, G-d permits them to complete the set years that they were predestined with [(ie: passing away on the exact same date that they were born, thus completing the entire year (like Moshe Rabbeinu)].
