[36a top] Shmuel: One may not completely remove all a storage area’s boxes because if the dirt floor then becomes revealed, one might come to level it out.

E’s Lesson: When we become involved in Holy Day activities, we may forget simple prohibitions because of the activities we are preoccupied with (ie: during a Shabbos lunch, one may walk into a bathroom and forgetfully flip a switch and turn on a light). Therefore, we must always take precautionary measures in life (ie: not clearing out all the barrels of a storehouse, and covering light switches on Holidays) to safeguard what is Holy.
