[34b middle] The Gemarah brings down a Pasuk that says, “you shall proclaim the Shabbos a pleasure,” to prove that produce should be tithed beforehand, because it serves a special purpose on Shabbos.

T’s lesson: Shabbos should never be seen as a burden, but as a gift to be treasured. Shabbos is to be respected and considered as a pleasure to enjoy.
