E’s Lesson#1: Smell is the only sense that permeates the soul. That is why after Shabbos we smell scents to invigorate our Neshama after our ‘extra soul’ leaves at the Holy day’s conclusion. Sight and sound are the only two senses that perceive beauty, and touch and taste are used for direct physical input. We must remember to select through all our senses only what is Kosher and beneficial for our souls.

E’s Lesson#2: There are infinite amounts of signals that we are unable to detect (ie: radiowaves and high pitch sounds…). Those that we are able to sense are directly put into our 5-sense scope for a reason. Hashem is always sending us signs, take a moment to stop, reflect, and read them.
