Justifications

Rashi: The Rabbis allowed food cooked by a deliberate prohibitor on YomTov but not by means of a subterfuge. A willful transgression will unlikely have followers and will eventually regret the actions performed. A subterfuge will rationalize actions whom others might likely follow and the sinner will unlikely look to repent.

E’s Lesson: We must always look to do what is right. When we take our egos out of the equation we are more likely to get unbiased thoughts. We must set our hearts and minds on proper courses to fulfil Hashem’s commandments. Never get lost by misguided evil inclinations inside of us masking the truth with improper justifications.
