Re-Payment Plan

R’ Yochanan quoting R’ Eliezer son of R’ Shimon: Hashem said to the Jewish people, “My sons, borrow on My account, and sanctify the holiness of the day. And trust in Me and I will repay [your loans].”
Hashem does not include what you spend on Shabbos in your set yearly income. Therefore, even if you have to borrow to buy food for Holy Days, you can rest assured that G-d will ensure you have enough to pay everything back.

E’s Lesson: There is nothing as amazing as a guarantee from G-d. Hashem tells us to test Him. If we need a boost in our faith, just follow His word. After we realize how exactingly truthful He is, we can apply His awesomeness everywhere else in our lives as well.
