Gemarah [13b top]: One may separate Terumah (tithes) with just intention and does not need to orally designate it.

E’s Lesson: Jewish thought is specifically powerful. It has the potential to change Halachick status. We are also rewarded and punished for our thoughts. We are commanded not to have immoral thoughts and conversely to always judge our fellow man favorably. May we always remember to watch our minds just as well as we watch our actions.
