[51a top] Mishnah: Both buyers and sellers are subject to the prohibitions of price fraud. Not only does it hold true for ordinary people, but also for merchants.

Prac-T-cal Tidbits: Instead of looking to ‘make a quick buck,’ we should be extremely cautious around business dealings. There are no real excuses for any sides of a sale, for all are equally responsible. We should strive to be perfectly honest in our transactions, for our own sakes and for those we come in contact with. Hashem is the only One who decides whose pockets money will end up in, so we might as well act righteously (for it will not help us to cheat anyway at the end of the day).
