R’ Yishmael B’ Rabi Yossi quoting Rebbe who explained that his father R’ Yehuda bar Iylaei said: River is full of mud, and skatzim don’t grow there, but Ravina said that 2 other rivers flow into it and they do have these non-Kosher fish. Even though normally they would not be found here, because of its influencing neighbors it itself becomes a problem.

E’s Lesson: Even if you remain spiritually pure, be careful on what neighbors and friends you keep regular that will influence your life.
