[25b bottom] Mishnah: If one found objects in a heap of stones or in an old wall, he may keep them.

Prac-T-cal Tidbits: Even though in general we must be on the lookout to try to return lost objects, there are certain cases in which we get to keep them. Hashem may place treasures for us to unearth and we employ the principle of ‘finders keepers.’ We must remember to always work within G-d’s framework of Jewish law, not be greedy, but accept His gifts when they come along with deep gratitude.
