D-E-ep Thoughts: Many times we have to deal with tough times involving heavy lifting and lots of strain in order to reveal great treasures. G-d teaches us the analogy from nature: Intense heat and lots of pressure produces diamonds. We are only truly able to grow with real resistance. We should not ask G-d for troubles, but whenever we do experience challenging times, we must thank Hashem for the opportunities to grow and come closer to Him.
