D-E-ep Thoughts: Just as in laws of Kosher, we will never understand the complete depths as to why specific items are deemed un-Kosher/prohibited. We must trust and know that G-d knows what is best for us and tells us to keep away from that which is damaging to us. Just as parents limit what is potentially harmful to their children, so too does our Father in Heaven protect us constantly (by commanding us what to or not to do).
