BORROWING BUDDIES

[64b middle] R’ Yehudah quoting R’ Assi: A minor who borrows an object and knows to returns it when asked for it back by its owner, is viewed as having developed thought (in regards to certain Jewish laws).

D-E-ep Thoughts: We all should recognize and remember that everything we have in this world is technically “borrowed” from G-d. Hashem blesses us with so much and we must never take anything for granted. Whenever we are called to give back anything that we may hold dear [ie: money, property, or even family members], we must remember that we were only holding onto and enjoying ‘Another’s’ possessions.
