[51b top] Rabbanan: When someone claims to have found one thing, we assume he did not find a second along with it (that he would be hiding) [since he did not even have to report the original item in the first place].

D-E-ep Thoughts: We should never try to hinder people trying to do good deeds and make sure to always give positive reinforcement [ie: if someone gives one dollar to Tzedakah, we should not try to embarrass them into giving more, rather give much thanks and appreciation]. Continuous praise will encourage even more favorable results. Additionally, the more positivity we are able to put forth into the world, the more it will come back to us in return.
