[6a middle] Shmuel: People who are busy learning (in Yeshivas) are not aware of other things that are going on around them [and would be unable to recognize particular signatures].

D-E-ep Thoughts: While we are involved in studying Torah we should minimize all distractions. Just as when we speak with someone that we care about, we try to give them our full undivided attention, so too when we are learning G-d’s Holy words, we must focus with laser sharp respect and concentration.
