[101b bottom] Mishnah: If a man marries a woman and she stipulates that he will feed her daughter from a previous marriage for a period of five years, he is obligated to do so for the full period of five years [even if he divorces her and she marries another, the first husband still must support that daughter].

Prac-T-cal Tidbits: We must always keep true to our words. If we say that we are going to do something, we really should do everything in our power to make it into a reality. We are only as good as our words (as they are not only binding agreements, but also have creative and destructive powers).
