D-E-ep Thoughts (based on R’ Rosner): Many times in life we may ‘happen’ across things that we should not see or be involved in. The real test then becomes, what we do from that point onwards. We must distance ourselves from potential danger rather than linger in promiscuous uncertainty. Chassidus teaches that those who wish to be careful and pious would never look anywhere, unless they know for sure that the area is cleared from any potential spiritual contamination.
