[21b top] Ravnai (brother of R’ Chiya bar Aba) went shopping to buy sesame seeds and related a Torah teaching about a witness and a judge being allowed to join in a testimony.
R’ Ronser: The reason that the story of Ravnai shopping is included in the Gemarah is to teach us that Torah was always on his mind.

D-E-ep Thoughts: Many of us are very busy in our day-to-day lives with work and family while running multiple errands and taking care of various responsibilities. However, it has become increasingly easier to listen to Torah lectures on our phones while driving or cooking, being able to read a book on a work break, or even just taking a minute each day to gain insight through a Daily Dose of Daf’s LIFE LESSON! We must not get lost in the daily grind and keep our hearts and minds filled with constant spirituality.
