D-E-ep Thoughts: Our bodies are all rented/borrowed from Hashem, and we have obligations and responsibilities to take care of them. Some laws involve not harming/defacing a body physically (ie: tatoos and piercings), while others are purely spiritual in nature (what we look at and say). If someone offers to lease us a car for ten years for FREE, but stipulates that we must only use supreme gas to fuel it, wouldn’t we be so grateful and surely abide by the rules (aside from the fact that it helps the car run at optimal levels)?! This is how we must view our bodies that are given to our souls from Hashem. We must be thankful everyday for the blessings and be extremely careful to follow to conditions exactly.
