D-E-ep Thoughts: Even though the animal has no ‘free will’ it is punished in order for us to learn a lesson [Hashem teaches us that there are always consequences for actions]. We may think that we “happened” to have been involved in another’s occurrence, but nothing could be further from the truth. We must always remember that, “the entire world was created for me.” This means that no matter what happens in and around our lives, G-d is specifically creating and orchestrating events to deliver direct constant communication.
