[17b middle] Gemarah: We always try to learn comparable lessons from the exact same words (in different places), if possible. The Rabbis only use less-alike words when nothing else is available for comparisons.

D-E-ep Thoughts: We should always strive for the best. Many times there may be multiple ways to achieve the same goals. It might be easy for some people to cheat, but then they are neglecting to identify with the One who really runs the world. We must never think that we can outsmart Gd and get more than is apportioned for us. When we recognize that Hashem is always running the world, we are able to thankful for what we do have and never try to “outsmart” the system in which we run.
