DO AS THE SAGES

[15a middle] R’ Gamliel’s daughter was married to his brother “Abba.” When Abba died without children, R’ Gamliel performed Yebum with (and married) his daughter’s co-wife.

Prac-T-cal Tidbits: We should always seek to emulate our sages. Just as R’ Gamliel himself, a great sage and leader of the Jewish people, did not hesitate to perform Yebum with his own daughter’s co wife, so too must we strive to perform all the Mitzvos we can even when they seem too personally, emotionally, or physically difficult.
