Haste Makes Waste

[21b bottom] R’ Aiyla: When one is trying to immerse one vessel within another vessel in a Mikvah, the water may not circulate freely and there will not be a complete immersion for purification [Lehavdil, like Achilles’s Heel (which his mother held him by, was not touched by the waters)].

E’s Lesson: We should never try to rush and complete multiple tasks together. When we are involved in a Mitzvah we should dedicate ourselves fully to its performance. Take proper time where appropriate and invest ourselves in the service of Hashem and others.
