FLAWED FIELDS

[29a middle] R’ Nachman: If one is squatting on a ‘cracked’ (inferior/holey) field, he does not acquire it by living there for three years [Ritva: The owner does not care (since it does not cause him a loss, and the squatter is not gaining physical benefit].

D-E-ep Thoughts: People are compared to trees in fields [Devarim 20:19]. Often people look down upon and/or ignore those which are cracked/broken. It is specifically our duty to reach out to those that need extra help and love in order to help them grow and flourish.

Today’s P.I.P. (Put Into Practice) TIP: Find someone that can use a helping hand and be the one to help uplift their spirits and show them a brighter and more joyous way.
