WOBBLING WORDS

[43a bottom] Rabbah bar R’ Huna: The verse in Yeshaya, “And this (Torah) stumbling block is under your hand,” teaches that a man does not arrive at a full understanding of the words of Torah unless he has first stumbled in interpreting them.

Prac-T-cal Tidbits: We should never despair at how long it may take us to understand words of Torah and/or spiritual teachings. The more effort we put into our learning, the more reward and better understanding we receive.
