Thirty days before a holiday (ie: <em>Pesach<\/em>), Jews are already involved with the laws pertaining to the upcoming Holy Days. It would be too difficult to switch the dates during this period, and the Rabbis were afraid that Jews might mistake the laws involving <em>Chametz<\/em> at the wrong times of that year.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>T&#8217;s lesson<\/strong><\/span>: We should have in mind the Holiday and its preparations from a month beforehand in order to bring in the holiday with the proper preparations and associated knowledge.
