R\u2019 Huna avoided answering the question at the time, because he felt ill and needed to eat before answering the question.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Gemarah answers<\/span>: By an animal that is half owned by a Jew and half owned by a non-Jew, the only way for the Jew to obtain his rightful share in the animal is by bringing it as a sacrifice (and thereby also happening to allow the non-Jew the ability to eat from it as well). But by a vowed offering, it is in actuality all <em>Hashem\u2019s<\/em> which after it is brought does the owner then obtain an ability to \u201cshare\u201d in. That is why this sacrifice may not be brought on <em>YomTov<\/em> (since the owner does not initially have a share to claim a right in to allow it to be brought in the first place).<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>E\u2019s Lesson<\/strong><\/span>: We must always remember that everything in the world in reality is ALL Hashem\u2019s. We are \u201centitled\u201d to nothing. This understanding will allow us to greatly appreciate every single thing that we are ultimately blessed with.
