However, by <em>Maasar<\/em> (tithes), the obligation comes only once production is finished (heaping produce into a pile is the end of production for <em>Maaser<\/em> but not a <em>Melacha<\/em> per say on shabbos and peeling off barley kernels by hand is the end of production for <em>Maasar<\/em> purposes but not for a <em>Melacha<\/em> for <em>Shabbos<\/em> itself).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>T\u2019s Lesson<\/strong><\/span>: One should be careful to observe Shabbos in the proper way, and follow the spirit of the law [even if an activity may technically not be prohibited as one of the 39 Melachos].
