A person may think to himself, \u201cI really need the bathroom, but I will not go use the one in McDonald\u2019s because of Maris Ayin.\u201d However, the same person may buy a Hershey\u2019s product from abroad without a hechsher (Kosher symbol) and and eat it, because he \u201cknows\u201d it is Kosher (but others may not).
