His father said, \u201cMy son, even if you prepare a meal for them like (the great and rich) King Shlomo\u2019s banquets, you will still not have fulfilled your duty towards them, for they are the children of Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov.\u201d His son was therefore instructed to go back and tell them, before they started working, that he is only obliged to give them simple bread and beans alone.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rashi<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Avraham is mentioned here since the huge feast prepared by him for his guests was even greater than Shlomo\u2019s. <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tosephos Yontif<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Yitzchak and Yaakov are also additionally mentioned here to exclude all other children [ie: Yishmael and Esav] who descended from Avraham for being included in the blessings of great meals and guaranteed wealth\/livelihood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>D-E-ep Thoughts<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The sons that were included in their father\u2019s blessings were given these \u2018rights\u2019 for they followed properly in their parents\u2019 footsteps. There is so much we can glean and learn from our parents, teachers, friends, and general surroundings.
