It is not the physical foreskin that is despicable to Hashem (unlike Rashi\u2019s opinion), but rather the lack of fulfillment when a spiritual obligation is at play.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">D-E-ep Thoughts<\/span><\/strong>: When we observe Torah commandments, we must recognize the deep spiritual realities, rather than just focusing on the physical attributes of people, places and things. A pig should not be disgusting in our eyes due to its rolling around in the mud or unhealthy physical characteristics, but rather because of its spiritual toxicity.
