Menashe mentioned three flaws of Yeshayahu\u2019s prophecy (all of which were actually not false), and had Yeshayahu killed [Yeshayahu was even his grandfather (Chizkiyahu the King married Yeshayahu\u2019s daughter after doing <i>Teshuva<\/i> (repentance) for not having children because he knew he would have an evil son; Menashe)].<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Prac-T-cal Tidbits<\/strong><\/span>: It is extremely dangerous to try to interpret the words of the Torah on our own! Menashe, a son of a righteous king and grandson of a holy and righteous prophet, was able to be so misled by seeming contradictions in his own mind that he was able to execute his own grandfather in cold blood!
