Anytime we want spiritual cleansing, a week (composed 7 days, signifying physical perfection and completeness) process is required [just like by a <i>Niddah<\/i> (menstruant) who after counting one clean week goes to the <i>Mikvah <\/i>(ritual bath)]. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Zohar<\/span>: We, as a nation, counted 7 complete weeks (of 7 days each) before receiving the Torah at Mt. Sinai because that was literally our days of cleansing before our marriage to Hashem.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><b>E\u2019s Lesson<\/b><\/strong><\/span>: We should always try and cleanse ourselves and work to perfect our relationships.
