[13a top] The Rabbis bring different proofs that transgressing Rabbinic laws do not bring punishments upon descendants (ie: a man who contaminated Tahor food and passed away, his children are not held liable to reimburse incurred losses).

T’s Lesson: People are held liable for their own sins. However, sometimes children may be held culpable if they do not learn from their parents ways and continue evil in the form of transgressions. We must ensure to teach our children only proper ways of following Mitzvos and the ways of the Torah.
