FORKED FEET

[23b bottom] R’ Yirmiyah: What is the law regarding a young dove which has one foot within a fifty amos boundary (where it would belong to the nearby dovecote’s owner) and one foot outside the boundary (which would belong to its finder)?
R’ Rosner: P’nei Menachem quoting Imrei Emes: During difficult times, we need to keep both feet in. If we are standing with one foot inside and one foot outside, it will be extremely difficult to make proper decisions.

D-E-ep Thoughts: Whenever we are involved in work, learning, or family time, we must give our 100%. If our mind is wandering and we have ‘one foot out the door,’ we will be missing out on what we should be focusing on and the task/recipients will lose out.

Today’s P.I.P. (Put Into Practice) TIP: Make sure to keep solid concentrations on our tasks at hand. Minimize distractions (ie: by putting our smartphones aside) and give everything our all [one engagement at a time].
