PROVIDING PROTECTION

[115a top] Mishnah: We may not take a security from a widow, whether she is poor or wealthy, as the verse states, “You shall not take as a security the garment of a widow.”

Prac-T-cal Tidbits: We must always be careful to protect others, especially those more vulnerable/weaker than us. When we go out of our way to help those in need, Hashem will surely return the favor and save us when we need extra help.
