POPULACE PROCRASTINATORS

[109a bottom] R’ Yosef hired a gardener to plant a vineyard for him (that would also receive a percentage) who died and left five sons-in-law. R’ Yosef said: Now, that there are five (instead of one), they will all rely on each other, no one will do any of the work, and this will cause me a loss.

D-E-ep Thoughts: Even when there are multiple people involved in a project, we should try to view ourselves as the only man on the job. When we have individual opportunities to accomplish, it is important to see things through (and not be lazy/complacent to rely on others). By acting with this go-getting attitude it will help reinforce our care for others and activate our Middos/traits of Zerizus (zealousness).

Today’s P.I.P. (Put Into Practice) TIP: As soon as a new possible task comes our way, jump to take it on and see it through to its completion in a quick/timely manner.
