ETERNAL REWARD

[83a top] Toldos Yaakov Yosef: When a husband tells his wife that he chooses to have no benefit from her assets, it is equatable to a soul telling the body that it wants to perform Heavenly duties without seeking physical reward. But, just as a man still inherits his wife after her lifetime, so too does the soul still gain infinite reward in the world to come.

D-E-ep Thoughts: We have to go through life with an end purpose driven mentality. When present struggles seem tough, re-focus on the light at the end of the tunnel. “Work” is only difficult if our minds are stuck in the muddy mundane. Although we may enjoy moments in this world, the true reward is yet to come. Every action that we do must be for a greater goal. Every breath we take, every move we make, G-d is watching us…
