HALACHIK REALITIES

[81b bottom] Braisa: Tanna Kamma: If a piece of Tamei (impure) Chatas meat became mixed with one hundred pieces of Tahor (pure) Chatas meat, the mixture is permitted. R’ Yehudah: It does not become Bitul (nullified) [because something which is intermingled with Min Bemino (its own kind) does not become Bitul].
Ran (explaining the Tanna Kamma): Bitul works to eat the whole mixture when there is a clash of items [and one can overpower the other]. But with Min Bemino, the foods are all exactly the same [and cannot overpower each other (as they coexist together)] so Bitul would not apply (and the mixture would be prohibited). Even if both food items are PHYSICALLY the same, but there is a difference HALACHIKALLY (part Tamei and part Tahor), that is enough of a clash for one to overpower the other and permit the combination through Bitul.
R’ Rosner: The invisible “Halachik reality,” overpowers what is there physically.

D-E-ep Thoughts (based on R’ Gil Locks): The world should not be viewed in black and white terms [as the colors themselves are not even truthful reality!]. We cannot ignore what we find physically in this world, as otherwise we would be walking into walls. But, everything physical is reflective of deeper spiritual realnesses. When we are able to understand the Halachik realities that define physicalities, we will come that much closer to G-d and the Oneness of the reality we ‘live’ in.
